Big ups to The Game for making this wonderful video after Nate Dogg passed away. Game had this released within 48 hours of Nate’s death. We will always miss and love you dawg.

It has been really hard for me personally to see one of the West coast pioneers pass away earlier this month. Nate Dogg, who started rapping at a young age, started his career on Dre’s “The Chronic” that was released back in 1992. We are saddened by his death and wish his family and friends comfort in this time of grief and pain.

Dr Dre is back and his back to make some serious dough! If you know anything about Dre, you know that he is a genius and knows how to produce and make killer rap songs. Now days that our gov signed the decriminalization law few weeks ago about marijuana users and how now it will only be a fine of $100 for having less than 1 oz of marijuana come January 1st. So with all that said, Dr Dre, Snoop and Akon just released a song titled “KUSH”. Perfect timing for Dre since the movement has grown now days in Cali. There are hundreds of songs about Mari Jane but this one is different because for one its after elections (prop 19) plus people miss true west coast beats and rap music like we had back in the 90s.

Flo Rida has been working overtime lately and is about to release his part 1 of “Only One Flo“. If you’re a Flo Rida fan, you need to preorder this album. Check out the tracklist below. No word on about when part 2 will be released but I have a feeling it will be around the holidays.

Yo, if you follow New Rap Songs you know that some of us here grew up with west coast old school rap. I know lot of people (other coasts) usually know that 90s were and always will be known for some of the best rap songs, albums and rap artists. I’m not hatin on the rappers now days but its a different game now days and different styles. One thing is for sure, West Coast rap will never die. It’s songs like “West Coast” by incidents that really put gangsta in front of “RAP”.
