KUSH – DR DRE – SNOOP DOGG & AKON

Dr Dre is back and his back to make some serious dough! If you know anything about Dre, you know that he is a genius and knows how to produce and make killer rap songs. Now days that our gov signed the decriminalization law few weeks ago about marijuana users and how now it will only be a fine of $100 for having less than 1 oz of marijuana come January 1st. So with all that said, Dr Dre, Snoop and Akon just released a song titled “KUSH”. Perfect timing for Dre since the movement has grown now days in Cali. There are hundreds of songs about Mari Jane but this one is different because for one its after elections (prop 19) plus people miss true west coast beats and rap music like we had back in the 90s.

Lacrae – Rehab – Christian Rap

This album was released yesterday and Lacrae is one of the best Christian hip hop artists. This album is currently # 38 in Amazon’s Music Bestseller list! The only other rapper in that List was Eminem at #25 so after Eminem Lacreae was the second best selling album in Hip Hop. That alone tells me that this is a great album.

Trill OG – BUN B

Homie Bun’s third solo album and as always the tracks are bangin the the rhyme style is no joke. Bun B is one talented dude and has mad skillz! I got this album on the first day (August 3rd) and its been in my deck player since the 3rd. The Album was released on Rap-A-Lot records on August 3rd of 2010 and the sales are still high. If you havent already got it, make sure to get Trill OG by Bun B.

Bushwick Bill – Testimony of Redemption

Bushwick Bill is one of the oldest and original rappers. When I hear Gangsta Rap, Bushwick is one of the names to come to mind. Bushwick has gone through total conversion and now is born again Christian. Big ups to our homeboy Bushwick – I grew up listening to his music and glad to see him doing well and still making tracks… I guess as we all age we get tired of the alcohol, drugs and the fast life. We all realize what matters to us most and if were smart enough, we try to make things better and change with life.
