Top 4 Rap Albums of 1998
Lots of us who are old school remember the old school rap songs back from the 90’s. After couple of friends and me had a discussion about the best rap songs from the 90’s, I was inspired to start a section for old school rap back from the 80’s & 90’s. Hence, here is our own list of “Top 4 Best Rap Songs of 1998”
Hope you will like our list – now, we understand that back in 98 we had a lot more than 4 good Rap Songs but our list only shines on 4 albums so forgive us if we left one of your favorites out.
#1 R U Still Down? (Remember Me) by 2Pac (Really needs to introduction… if you were old enough back in 98 and you loved rap this is one Album that you purchased and listened to every dang day.
# 2 Flesh of My Flesh, Blood of My Blood by DMX – Man, I used to listen to DMX all day every day – and back in 1998 lots of people where I loved in LA didn’t have love for DMX – I didn’t care, I loved the beats and the lyrics and his style and I bumped it straight for few months.
# 3 Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told by Snoop Dogg – Homie Snoop, need to introduction either – one of his best work ever made – Da Game Is to Be SOLD, Not to Be Told By Snoop Dogg – very few albums can measure with this one. Snoop is a pioneer of west coast rap and he keeps it real.
# 4 Ghetto D by Master P – Back in 1998 everybody was bumping P in their cars, at the park at the mall and everywhere you went. The base and the slick lyrics are always pleasing to almost every rap lover out there.
